Creative placemaking workshop hopes to bring awareness to community

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Jonathan Dye from the Macon Arts Alliance dropped by 41NBC to discuss a creative place-making workshop.

The workshop is designed to help the community understand applying for grants.

Grants can help the cultural themes in the city to grow.

The workshop will take place at the Cox Capitol Theatre in Macon at noon on Saturday.

It ends at 2 p.m.

Lunch will be served.
