Perry hosts annual Independence Parade, Freedom Fireworks Celebration

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Perry Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to another year of celebrating America’s independence with the 5th Annual Independence Parade and Freedom Fireworks Celebration.

Director of Events and Communication, Bonnie Giles shares more information about the event.

You can see the Freedom Fireworks light up the sky Sunday night at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry.

Gates open at 7:00 p.m. and fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

You can bring picnic, and there will be a kid’s zone as well.

41NBC’s Taylor Terrell and Chief Meteorologist Chris Simmons will host the parade.
