41NBC announces Middle Georgia’s Best Mom

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 41NBC has been looking for Middle Georgia’s Best Mom. We asked viewers from all over the area to send in letters saying why their mom is the best. We received almost 40 entries and narrowed it down to the top three.

The three finalists and their families stopped by 41 Today on Friday. They shared parts of their letters and told us why their mom is the best.

The three finalists were Betty Mason, Katie Jones, and Elizabeth Puckett.

Mason’s daughter, Sundra Woodford read a portion of her letter she wrote to us about her mom. Jones’ daughter, Kellie Jones, was unable to attend the big announcement, so her father, Clay Jones, read her entry. Puckett’s daughter, Laura Bell, got emotional while reading her letter. 

Sally Billes from Callaway Gardens was there to share the grand prize: a weekend of pampering at the Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens and tickets to see Bill Cosby live in Macon.

After much anticipation, 41NBC is excited to announce Katie Jones is Middle Georgia’s Best Mom.

The other finalists also won tickets to see Bill Cosby live this weekend.
