Realtors give percentage of commission to Homes for Heroes

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Homes for Heroes wants to give back to ordinary people who have been extraordinary citizens.
The national organization currently serves 48 states, including Georgia, by helping to give certain citizens affordable housing.
Heroes include: active and retired military, teachers, firefighters, law enforcement, EMA and healthcare professionals.
Realtor Elaine Loggins, says real estate companies are helping others by giving back to those who have given so much. Realtors can give 25% of their commission to Homes for Heroes.
Lenders of the program also contribute to the hero’s savings on a home.
