A taste of Greece arrives in Downtown Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A taste of Greece arrives in Macon this weekend in Downtown Macon. The Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church opens the seventh annual Central Georgia Greek Festival next to its church starting this Friday.
You can enjoy live music, dancing, art, shopping, tours and, as Mike Cantrell showed during the interview, fantastic Greek treats. He is a blast to speak to, and if anyone can convince you to take the time to enjoy yourself at the festival, it’s Cantrell.
Here are the bullet points of what you need to know:
When: 11am – 10pm on Oct. 17th and 18th, and 11am – 3pm on Oct. 19th
Where: 859 First St. in Downtown Macon, next to the Middle Georgia Medical Center
