AARP provides middle Georgians with free tax services
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – AARP provides free tax services to senior citizens and low to moderate income middle Georgians.
Betsy Moore with AARP District 13 says regardless of the organization’s target audience, no one will be turned away from the service.
According to Moore, trained counselors will prepare and electronically file federal and state tax returns until April 15.
Several locations are open in District 13:
- The Senior Center on 152 Maple Street in Warner Robins; Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.; (478) 322-0269
- The Volunteer Outreach Center on 733 Carroll Street in Perry; Wednesday from noon till 3:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. till noon; (478) 218-2274
- The Thomas Public Library on 315 MLK Jr. Drive in Fort Valley; Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.; (478) 825-1640
- The Reddock Senior Center on 824 Griffin Ave. in Eastman: Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m.: (478) 374-7255
