Adopt a furry friend from the Sandersville animal shelter

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — At 41NBC, we love to help set up our viewers with a furry companion. The Sandersville/Washington County Animal Shelter would like to help make that a reality. Amber Jones and Officer Greg Haynes visited our studio for a live interview and introduced us to two of the pets who are hoping for a home. The adoption fee does not include spaying/neutering or shots, but the local Sandersville vet will give you a discount if you bring an adopted pet to them that you adopted from the Sandersville shelter. Here’s what you need to know:

Adoption Fee: $15 (does not include spaying/neutering or rabies shots)

• Male Dog – $86.50
• Female Dog less than 50lbs – $96.50
• Female Dog 51lbs & up – $106.50
• Male Cat – $46.50
• Female Cat – $76.50
