Amputee golfers meet in Milledgeville for tournament
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – This weekend golf players from across the nation will Milledgeville for a special kind of tournament. Bill Eason stopped by 41 Today to tell us more about the Georgia State Amputee Golf Tournament.
This year marks the 21st year of the golf tournament in honor of Ray Rice Senior. A memorial for him was established in 1993.
Eason said amputee golfers from across the south east will meet and enjoy being around one another on the golf course.
The Georgia State Amputee Golf Tournament is Friday, July 11 through Sunday, July 13th at the Milledgeville Country Club.
