Annual book sale proceeds benefit women, families

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The American Association University of Women (AAUW) through the Houston-Peach Branch will hold its annual 50th Used Book Sale this weekend. 

AAUW provides support to various educational support to women and their families.

Over the years, volunteers have supplied more than 60,000 free books to about 15,000 elementary students.

You can "Sneak-a-Peek" Thursday, October 22 at 5:00 a.m. Free admission is from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday free shopping is 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday shopping will be half priced from 9:00 a.m. to noon. From noon to 2:00 p.m. it’s the "Bag or Box" sale.
