Annual Camp Wings helps grieving children, families cope with loss
FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An annual camp is helping children cope with the emotional and mental pain of losing a loved one.
The Heart of Georgia Hospice will host its 15th annual Camp Wings in Fort Valley this year hoping to counsel dozens of grieving children and their families.
Parents, or guardians with kids ages 6-16 are welcomed to sign their children up for the program.
Camp Wings is funded by the Heart of Georgia Hospice.
This year, the event will be take place at Camp John Hope, located on Hope Entrance Road in Marshallville.
The three-day event is November 6-8.
There is a $10 registration fee.
