Annual Christmas Cottage shares last minute Christmas gift ideas

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Historic Macon and the Sidney Lanier Cottage will host its annual Cottage Christmas tomorrow, Thursday, December 10.

Middle Georgians are welcome to tour the Christmas home and sample local chefs’ baked goods and special recipes. 

The annual tour and bake sale is "perfect for last minute gifts," according to Preservation and Education Coordinator Kimberly Campbell. 

You can purchase a variety of treats: cookies, cakes, quiches, jams and jellies. 

Also, this year, the Otis Redding Foundation DREAM Choir will perform favorite Christmas carols at 6 p.m.

The event will be from 4-7 p.m.

Admission is free to the public.

The Sidney Lanier Cottage is located at 935 High Street in Macon.
