Arts at the Grove Festival to Promote Central State Hospital
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Central State Hospital Local Redevelopment Authority is hoping the community will come out for its first ever Arts at the Grove festival this weekend. Lauern Abis stopped by 41 Today to talk about the event.
Abis said Arts at the Grove will be a fun, family focused event that will bring new life to the CSH campus. They’ve partned with a local music festival, Sounds of the South, who will provide live entertainment. There will be a bounce house, face paining, and the family fun ride hosted by the Milledgeville Bike Club.
The redevelopment authority’s missions is to develop economic strategies for the redevelopment and repurposing of CSH.
The Arts at the Grove Festival is Saturday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at CSH.
