Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies to teach gun safety class

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) The Bibb County Sheriffs Office Outreach Program will host a Citizens Gun Class to help community members learn more about gun safety laws and how to operate their weapons.

Deputies will teach gun owners how to safely fire a handgun.

Currently, the two-day class is full, but gun owners are welcomed to sign the waiting list for the event.

The deadline to register is Friday, October 23, 2015. Seats are limited.

The event is on October 26-27 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Bibb County Sheriffs Office Training Facility, located at 1166 Jackson Street in Macon.
