Byron Fire Department talks about the importance of National Fire Prevention Week

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – This week is National Fire Prevention Week. Sgt. Shelby Teague from the Byron Fire Department stopped by the 41Today studio. She says people who live in an apartment or home should have two fire escape plans in case of an emergency. Sgt. Teague also says a family should have a meeting place outside as well.
