Camp Milestones celebrates students with celebration

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Camp Milestones is having an end-of-the-year celebration today celebration students who have been attending camp for the last six weeks.

About 40 kids K-6 grades have been involved with the summer camp, which is led by the Bibb County School District.

The teachers reinforce the Georgia Standards of Excellence, especially in math and reading.

The kids also learn Spanish, fine arts and STEM throughout the camp.

For an hour kids will recite what they learned about during the celebration.

If you’d like to attend, the celebration is today, July 15 at 5:00 p.m. at Tremont Temple Baptist Church, located on 5263 Bloomfield Road in Macon.
