Celebrate spring during the Master Gardeners’ Spring Festival

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Spring is in the air! The Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon is celebrating the time of the year when the flowers are blooming and the bees are buzzing. Mimi Brown with the Master Gardener’s of Central Georgia stopped by 41 Today to tell us about the organization’s first ever Spring Festival.

The Spring Festival will be held in the native plant garden at the museum. It features indigenous plants from the region. There will also be a butterfly release during the event.

Brown said the Spring Festival is free and is a great family event. It is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon.
