Champions for Children helps Middle Georgia families cover medical costs

Macon, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Easter Seals Middle Georgia helps families with sick children across the community pay for medical treatment. Denise Creel stopped by 41 Today to tell us more about the Champions for Children Program.

Creel said the Champions for Children Program helps medically fragile children in the Peach State. The program is geared to families who do not receive government assistance. It helps middle class families pay for therapies, doctor visits, and other costs that their insurance does not cover.

Creel says the program currently serves around 300 families, including several in the Middle Georgia area.
