Macon church to perform Easter Sunday play

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The United Community Church invites the entire community to its annual Easter play called He Touched Me.

During the play, actors recreate scenes of Jesus’ healing, the Last Supper, the crucifixion, the resurrection and other scenes from the Bible.

Attendees will have two chances left to attend the free event.

Play writer and editor, Wilma Andrews, says she expects about 350 guest for each show.

The play is on Easter Sunday, March 27 and Sunday, April 3, both at 6:30 p.m. at the church, which is located on 2411 Heath Road in Macon.
