City of Byron to host ‘Fire Prevention Fun Day’

BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Byron Fire Department is hosting the ‘Fire Prevention Fun Day’ next week to teach children and their families about fire safety. 

The local fire department, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, along with the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation are teaming up to bring this event to the community as part of Fire Prevention Week. 

Children and families can enjoy food, fun activities and games for all ages.

If you’d like to attend, the event will be held at the Jail House Alley Park in Byron on Saturday, October 3 at 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
