CODE RED celebration raising money for local scholarships

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A local fraternity and sorority chapter are throwing a party to raise money to provide scholarships for Middle Georgia youth and support community projects.

Charlotte Woody, President of the Macon Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Tyrone Hill from the Macon-Warner Robins Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. stopped by the 41NBC studio to talk about their big, 10th annual CODE RED celebration.

The event, which raises money for community service projects in Middle Georgia, is Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Macon Centreplex.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Event goers are asked to wear semi-formal attire.
