MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The brave fight of a television start is raising cancer awareness. Americans fell in love with Valerie Harper as Rhonda on the Mary Tyler Moore show and later on her own spinoff. Earlier this year, Harper revealed that she had been diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer. Since then, something extraordinary happened and she’s already beating the odds.
