Community partners to host affordable housing forum in Macon

Macon, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Middle Georgia Association of Realtors’ (MGAR) Affordable Housing Committee will partner with State Representative James Beverly (D-Macon) to host “Macon A Better Community: The ABC’s of Transforming a Community through Empowerment and Collaboration.”

This is an opportunity for community members to address issues and create solutions regarding real estate practitioners, community agencies, institutions and the general public.

According to a release, participants will have the ability to learn about resources available in the Middle Georgia community that impact affordable housing, and will have an opportunity to consider external affairs affecting the community’s affordable housing and community development resources.

The event lasts from Thursday, December 3 – Saturday, December 5 at Wesleyan College, located on 4760 Forsyth Road in Macon.
