Concerned residents to host unity event in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County Branch of the NAACP is hosting a community event following the recent shootings between officers and residents in Dallas, Minnesota and Louisiana.

Unity in the Community is a run/walk and festival for kids and adults to participate in.

The event is July 23 at 1105 South Davis Drive in Warner Robins starting with the 5K run/walk at 7:00 a.m. Sign-in and registration begin at 6:00 a.m.

The registration fee is $20 for adults, $15 for young adults, $10 for youth and smaller kids at free.

The fun festival starts from 11:00 a.m. and lasts until 4:00 p.m.
