Conflict resolution class offers healthy ways to handle emotions

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – PruittHealth Hospice and the Specialized Protection Services Training Academy will host the ‘Verbal Self-Defense and Conflict De-Escalation Class.’

According to a release, the course is designed to education professionals and community members about using their words and behavior wisely to calm potentially violent situations in the workplace and at home. 

The event will be on Wednesday, September 16 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., or on Thursday, September 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the PruittHealth Hospice, located on 6060 Lakeside Commons Drive in Macon.

Registration is $30 in advance, or $35 at the door.
