Dog waste stations installed in Macon’s downtown parks
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission has installed 30 new dog waste stations throughout Macon’s downtown parks.
The commission’s president and CEO, Pam Carswell says it’s all thanks to a Downtown Macon Challege Grant. She stopped by the 41NBC studio to talk about the exciting new installations.
Carswell says many downtown residents have pets, and building dog waste stations was much needed.
Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission will hold a ceremony to recognize the grant award and new dog waste stations. It’ll take place at the Harriett Tubman African American Museum at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7.
