Dublin to celebrate veterans with a parade

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Veteran’s Day is may be Monday, November 11th, but the city of Dublin will be honoring our men and women who served a little bit earlier. The city’s third annual Veteran’s Day parade is happening Saturday, November 9th.

This year’s parade celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the American Legion. There’s a parade float competition that starts at 11 a.m. The parade starts at 1 p.m.

The parade will travel through Dublin’s historic downtown and Bellevue districts beginning at Telfair Street/Highway 441, then left on Jefferson Street/Highway 19, left on Jackson Street/Hwy. 80 to Oak Street.
