Dublin to create monuments in memory of African American leaders

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Dublin, along with several sponsors are coming together to pay homage to the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and other prominent African American leaders by creating monuments in their honor.

The monuments will be placed at the First African Baptist Dublin Church, where King issued his first speech in middle Georgia, according to the Director of Tourism, Rebecca McWilliam.
