E.L High School celebrates eighth graduating class

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – E.L. High School Home Study Academy is getting ready to celebrate its most recent class of graduates. Elaine Lucas stopped by 41 Today to tell us more about the program.

Lucas said E.L. High School was founded in 2011. It helps students who did not receive a high school diploma get a second chance. Students complete the home study packets and are able to earn their high school diploma at their own pace.

Lucas said more than 60 students are graduating at this weekend’s graduation ceremony. It marks the eighth graduating class.

E.L. High School’s commencement ceremony is Saturday, June 14 at 5 p.m. at the Promise Neighborhood Center off Anthony Road.
