Festival of Trees ready for its 30th year

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Festival of Trees is back for its 30th year, celebrating the holiday season.

It’s the Museum of Arts and Sciences’ biggest fundraiser. Joanna Griffin and Sherry Singleton stopped by the 41NBC studio to talk about this year’s events.

The Festival of Trees Luncheon is Nov. 9, with its wide array of decorated trees and abstract art. It starts at noon.

The Festival of Trees Gala is Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Historic Terminal Station. Tickets are available at http://masmacon.org.

The second annual Festival of Trees’ Kid’s Holiday Event is at 10 a.m. The Museum of Arts and Sciences partnered with Coliseum Medical Centers. They’ll be showing a movie, playing games and eating cookies!
