Fit for a cause: Zumba instructor to host Christmas Gala

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A local fitness trainer is on a mission to get middle Georgians fit while benefiting the less fortunate. 

Licensed trainer Janice Shepard will host her third annual ‘Zumba Gala for Christmas’ to raise money to provide Christmas gifts for families in need this holiday season.

Attendees have the opportunity to learn the Latin aerobic dance exercise in a unique, fun environment.

The event requests a $10 donation at the door, or a gift of any amount. All donations will be distributed to the families in need. 

If you’d like to attend, the event is on Saturday, December 13 from 10:30 am till 12:30 pm at Harvest Cathedral located on 2254 Rocky Creek Road in Macon.
