Food bank in Milledgeville gearing up for holiday season with Community Celebration Day

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Maddox Investing in America (MIA) Food Bank is kicking off the holiday season with its second annual Community Celebration Day.

It’ll be a day of family-fun with a kids zone, free food and music, so bring your lawn chair! Multiple speakers will be on hand with positive messages of stopping violence and voting.

Timothy and Tarneisha Maddox stopped by the 41NBC studio to talk about MIA and what they do for the local community. Their main goal is to do the will of God by helping, feeding and educating those in their community.

Community Celebration Day is Saturday, Nov. 5 in Milledgeville at 133 Old River Bridge Road from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All proceeds will go to help feed families for the holidays.
