Forsyth animal rescue hopes you adopt its furry personalities
FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Ah, the beautiful outdoors of a Monroe County farm.
It’s known for a few things, like the wide open spaces, the horses and…. dogs?
Well, why not dogs?
Kristin Reid founded Reid Rescue, and she’s a one-woman band.
"I’m the founder. I’m the maintenance crew," she says.
She has a lot of land, and rescuing has always been a big passion of hers.
"And I felt that it was a shame to have the space that is so needed and not use it," Reid says.
So she’s a smaller rescue with less than a dozen dogs. But instead of cramming dogs into cages, they have tons of space to utilize on the farm. That way the dogs can wait in comfort for someone to give them their forever home.
