Forsyth Gets in Holiday Spirit with ‘Hometown Holidays Parade’

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – To get in the holiday spirit, Darlene McLendon with the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce stopped by 41 Today to tell us about this year’s “Hometown Holidays Parade.”

This year’s theme is “All I Want for Christmas.”

The parade is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Thousands of spectators fill downtown Forsyth to enjoy the parade. Floats, cheerleaders, dance troupes, and pageant queens are just some of the things you can expect to see.

The “Hometown Holidays Parade” is Thursday, December 5. It starts at 7 p.m. and goes through Forsyth’s historic commercial district.
