Forsyth theatre holds auditions for “Annie Get Your Gun”

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Calling all actors! The Rose Theater and Backlot Players are holding auditions for its upcoming performance, Annie Get Your Gun. Alan Ralph stopped by 41 Today to tell us more.

The auditions are Monday and Tuesday, July 7 and 8, at 7 p.m at the Rose Theatre in Forsyth. The audition is open for kids, teens, and adults.

Anyone interested in auditioning must be prepared to read, sing, and dance.

According to the Backlot Players website, the musical is about Annie Oakley. She is the best shot around and joins a Wild West Show as a sharpshooter. She falls in love with the headliner of the show, Frank Butler.
