Free Symposium to Educate Community on Caring for the Elderly
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Coliseum Medical Center is hosting a symposium this week for anyone caring for their aging parents or themselves. Franchetta Trawick stopped by 41 Today to share all the details.
Trawick said this seminar is to raise awareness. She said almost 13% of the people in Middle Georgia are 65 years of age or older. There will be resources and information available at the symposium to help people who are caring for the elderly.
There are two sessions on Thursday, April 10. You can attend either the 9 a.m. to noon session or the 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. session. It is a free event located at the Coliseum Cancer Center Building C.
