General Bob McMahon talks about his future, Robins Air Force Base, 21st Century Partnership
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – General Bob McMahon is a leader in the Middle Georgia community, he was the former commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center and is currently the CEO of the 21st Century Partnership, but that is all about to change. General McMahon stopped by 41 Today to talk more about his future.
General McMahon announced earlier this month is is stepping down from the 21st Century Partnership on May 4th. He starts his new job at Boeing as the Director of Customer Relations for the C-17 program. He’s staying in the Middle Georgia area and will go back to work at Robins Air Force Base. He said he is excited for the new opportunity.
McMahon talk about the future of the 21st Century Partnership and RAFB. He said is is optimistic about the base’s future if there is a BRAC in the next few years.
McMahon said this is a tremendous community and he will miss what he’s been doing.
McMahon is set to start his new job on May 9th. As far as who will be replacing him, 21st Century Partnership officials are still in the works of deciding that.
