Genesis Joy House to host meal for homeless woman veterans

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Genesis Joy House hopes to provide support for women who are veterans and homeless.

It’s hosting a meal at Olive Garden in Warner Robins to talk to the women and get a gage for what kind of services they want to provide.

Margaret Flowers, with the Genesis Joy House, says they want to partner with the Veterans Affairs in Dublin to help veteran women.

Daniel Jones is the general manager of Olive Garden, and he says he is happy to help out with such a great cause.
