Georgia Department of Corrections holds mass hiring event
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Looking for a job in law enforcement?
The Georgia Department of Corrections wants you to come out to its mass hiring event this Thursday, June 16.
It’s at 300 Patrol Road in Forsyth at the GDC Headquarters.
Officer Lourdes Monterrosa and Lieutenant Danny Lucear join 41NBC with more.
This event will be for applicants who are interested in becoming Correctional Officers with the Georgia Department of Corrections.
The event will run from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. with on-site interviews.
Professional Dress is required, and an on-site physical fitness tests will be conducted, so applicants should bring something to change into for that.
Hiring event attendees must bring copies of the following items:
• Completed State of GA Application (Blank Copies available on site)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card
• HS Diploma /GED transcript
• SAT/ACT/Compass /Asset /Accuplacer Scores
• A copy of POST profile, If POST certified
