Get students ready for classes at Back to School carnival

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It is that time of the year, back to school time! The Macon-Bibb County Health Department is hosting a carnival to help get your kids ready. Marjorie Williams from the health department and Dominque Johnson from Kingdom Life and Urban CEO stopped by 41 Today to tell us more.

During the carnival, your child can get up to date on his or her immunizations. There will also be nutrition screenings, hearing, vision, and dental screenings.

Parents can also pick up backpacks filled with school supplies. Your child must be present to get one.

There will also be carnival games, kid friendly activities, and more.

The Back to School Carnival is Saturday, July 26 at the Macon-Bibb Health Department located at 171 Emery Highway. It is from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call (478) 745-0411.
