Getting Funky with the Macon Pops

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – This Friday, the Macon Pops Orchestra is taking on songs by some legendary musicians like George Clinton, Stevie Wonder, and Kool & The Gang for a brand new concert. The We Got the Funk Concert is Friday, November 15th at 7:30 p.m. at the Venue at The Grand Opera House in Macon.

Macon Pops Co-Founder, Steve Moretii, says the orchestra will even play some songs by more current musicians like Bruno Mars. The Macon Pops are also returning to the Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza in downtown Macon. They will be performing Friday, November 29th at 6 p.m. at First and Poplar Streets in Macon.
