Glad Rags to host annual golf tournament

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 5th Annual Roaring 20’s Glad Rags Golf Tournament is a fundraising effort to raise money for families this holiday season. 

The event founder, Danny Gibson, and United Way President George McCanless talk about the upcoming event, and how it got started. 

Gibson says all attendees are encouraged to dress in 20’s attire to play a round of golf to raise money for middle Georgia families, and Read 2 Succeed.

The event will be on Friday, December 12 at the Club at River Forest. Tee time is at 11:00 am.
