Helping Hands Community Outreach Celebrating Mother’s Day

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Helping Hands Community Outreach will hold their annual Mother’s Day Social Saturday May 10th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be at the Frank Johnson Community Center at 2227 Mercer University Drive in Macon.

Barbara Griggs with Helping Hands says it’s very important to register, because space is limited.

There are 100 spots to be filled for women ages 18 and older.

The social will feature door prizes, lunch, entertainment and guest speakers.

Mothers: bring your best hat for the "Best Hat" contest. Prizes will be given out.

Griggs also said if you register and then later find you cannot make it, be sure to call back so your spot can be given to someone else.

Registration runs until May 7th.
