‘Helping Hands, Helping People’ Youth and Family Day Promotes Self Improvement
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Several local community service organizations are teaming up this weekend to provide Macon youth and their families with a fun day geared towards self improvement. Clarence Thomas from Helping Hands Community Outreach stopped by 41 Today to tell us about this year’s “Helping Hands, Helping People” Youth and Family day event.
The event is targeted for youth ages 10 to 25 years old. There will be panel discussion with local leaders and celebrities where the youth can talk freely and ask questions.
The event is Saturday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Memorial Park Gym. The event is free.
