Hope in Darkness Global Foundation to host three day charity event this weekend

MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT) – September is National Suicide Prevention Month, and one local charity is hosting a three day event to help provide light in dark times.

Hope in Darkness Global Foundation’s mission is to “help those battling depression and suicide by bringing hope for brighter days.”

CEO and Founder of the foundation, Dr. Angela D. Stanley, joined 41Today Thursday to speak about Hope in Darkness’s “Life Weekend 2018.” You can hear what she had to say about the foundation and this weekend’s services by watching the full interview above.

Hope in Darkness Global Foundation “Life Weekend 2018” will take place September 7-9 at the Warner Robins Conference Center.

Friday, September 7

  • Meet and greet with Mayor Randy Toms, 7 p.m.

Saturday, September 8

  • Hope and life prayer walk at the Houston County Galleria Mall, 8:30 a.m.
  • Charity dinner with keynote speaker Pat Stanley Brock, 6 p.m. (Invitation only).

Sunday, September 9

  • Special Prayer Service with Dr. Angela D. Stanley, 12 p.m.
