Houston County Family Promise puts the brakes on homelessness

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Homelessness continues to be a problem in Middle Georgia, and Houston County Family Promise wants to help.

They’re raising money by hosting an event that lets you stay in your car overnight.

It’s a way to simulate a small part of being homeless.

The organization provides resources for homeless families, including classes on how you can get a job.
