Jarrell Plantation hosting pair of holiday events

JULIETTE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Jarrell Plantation Historic Site has a busy weekend planned for people looking for some holiday fun.

Give the gift of a homemade scarf this winter and learn the basics of knitting at “It’s Knitting Chilly” on Saturday morning at the plantation starting at 10 a.m.

Then on Saturday night, join Jarrell Plantation for “Candlelight Christmas” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Christina Orr from Jarrell Plantation Historic Site stopped by the 41NBC studio to talk about the events.

She says Santa Claus will be at “Candlelight Christmas” and there will be warm cider and cookies. You can take a stroll around the plantation’s two historic homes by candlelight.
