Jay’s Hope to host wine tasting to benefit cancer patients

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Jay’s Hope is an organization that helps children and families who fight cancer each day.

It provides day-to-day supplies and resources for families.

Christie Johnson works with Jay’s Hope.

The organization is hosting a wine tasting event at Signature Salon in Macon.

The money goes toward children who need help.

It’s a team wine tasting event–each four-person team picks their favorite wine and donates bottles of it.

Jay’s Hope wraps the wine so no one knows which is which, and the teams meet February 27th to taste and pick their favorite.

Whichever team has the winning wine takes home a bottle of each wine donated.

Tickets are $60 and teams need to be registered by February 22nd.

To register, head to the Jay’s Hope website.
