Joshua’s Wish 5K raises money for childhood cancer research

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the organization Joshua’s Wish is holding a 5K to raise awareness and research funds for a cure.

The 5k Walk/Run is Saturday, September 14th at 8:00am at Tattnall Square Park.

Founders Labrina Solomon and Trent Solomon say funds raised will go toward a Summer Undergraduate Research Award. Each summer Joshua’s Wish awards $5,000 to students to research childhood cancers at an approved lab.
