Joshua’s Wish hosts 5K run to raise money, awareness

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Joshua’s Wish wants you to know about a certain kind of brain tumor that is pretty rare.

Trent Solomon, co-founder of Joshua’s Wish, joins 41NBC to talk more about it.

He founded the organization to bring awareness to the brain tumor that his son, Joshua, suffered from.

It’s called Diffuse Intrinsic Pointine Glioma, or DIPG.

If you want to head to the race, it’s at Amerson River Park in Macon at 8:30 Saturday September 17th.

They’ll have food and fun family activities as well.
