Keeping Organized: Three things to keep your bathroom in order

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The bathroom is a place in the house that can get just as disorganized and cluttered as any other. Professional organizer Andi Willis is back to give us her three favorite tools she uses to keep her bathroom in perfect working order.

Certain houses built about 30 years ago were not made with medicine cabinets, forcing everything to go into the drawers below the sinks. Andi suggests using small baskets to put into those drawers that will help prevent smaller items getting jumbled from repeated opening and closing.

For the cabinets under the drawers, Andi likes using a pull-out shelf that you can get from any home improvement store. It’s an easy device to install, and can easily slide out. Having one of these can allow a maximum of storage space while using a minimum of effort, and helps prevent items from being lost all the way in the back.

And lastly, Andi likes to use anything that gives her a chance to use available vertical space. Hooks on cabinet doors can afford opportunities to hang up flat-irons, vanity mirrors, or even a baskets made to hold hair dryers.
